Brandon DiCriscio

Brandon DiCriscio grew up dancing in Wilmington, DE under the training of Anna Marie and Sonny Leo. He then went on to pursue a B.A. in Dance at Point Park University. While in school he was apprenticing ever summer with River North Dance Chicago, he then went on to dance with the company from 2007-2011.

Different choreographers he worked with include Lauri Stallings, Robert Battle, Frank Chaves, Sherry Zunker, Sidra Bell, Edgar Zendajas, Ron De Jesus, Doug Varone, Eddy Ocampo, Shannon Gillen, Randy Duncan, Harrison McEldowney, and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano. While at Springboard Danse Montreal he worked with BJM Danse Montreal under the direction of Louis Robitallie. Brandon also has apprenticed with Luna Negra Dance Theater. His passion is for dance-making.

In 2011, he won the Dance Chance Redux competition sponsored by The Ruth Page Center and DanceWorks Chicago. In 2012, He created two new works for the new and upcoming company, The Big Muddy Dance Company. In 2013, He will be creating work on NoMi Dance Company, DanceWorks Chicago, Inaside Chicago Dance, and LEVELdance. Brandon teaches musical theater dance and contemporary technique at The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts), and recently started as Assistant to the Director/Choreographer/Dancer for LEVELdance (leveldance.org).
