Performing ApprenticesSarah FordSarah Ford is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and is a graduate of the Youth Performing Arts School. While attending YPAS, she received her training in ballet, modern and jazz, as well as lyrical, tap and hip-hop at other local studios. Sarah has also trained at the Joel Hall Dance Center and Columbia College in Chicago IL, the Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, CA and Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles. Sarah has performed with numerous dance companies such as Midwest Dance Collective, DanceWerks Productions, Deeply Rooted Dance Productions, The Joel Hall Dancers and The JADD Co. She has worked with choreographers such as Donald Mckhayle, Joel Hall, Ellen Werksmen, Paul Brown, Murray Phillips, Joseph Decker and Richard Smith. She was a member of the Joseph Allen Decker Dance Company where she assisted Mr. Decker for two seasons. Sarah was a Co-Director of Xtreme Dance Force for 3 years and is the artistic director of Elevate Dance Company in MI. She is currently residing in Illinois where she is training, teaching and choreographing all over the Chicagoland and Detroit Metropolitan Areas.
Brady T. HinkleBrady T. Hinkle began dancing at the age of 3 in his hometown of Beloit, Wisconsin where he studied ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Upon graduation of high school, Brady attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Dance and worked with many student, faculty, and guest choreographers performing such well known works as Mary Anthony's Songs, and excerpts of Mia Michael's choreography from Celine Dion's Las Vegas show A New Day. Brady is excited to be dancing in his first season with Inaside Chicago Dance and would like to thank his wife, family, and friends for their continued support.
Shannon HritzShannon Hritz a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began her training at the Laurel Youth Ballet in Greensburg, PA as well as the Johnstown Concert Ballet in Johnstown, PA. In 2002, she furthered her training at BalletMet’s intensive summer program in Columbus, Ohio and then returned to Pittsburgh. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Hritz joined Bodiography Contemporary Ballet in 2002 as an apprentice and was soon promoted to soloist in 2004. That same year she earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology with a minor in psychology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Hritz finished her last season with Bodiography in 2007. In fall 2007 she participated in a company apprenticeship with River North Chicago Dance Company. In 2008 she joined Cerqua-Rivera Dance Theatre. Ms. Hritz was then offered a position with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago III where she performed throughout Chicago as well as at Dance Chicago. She is excited to begin her first season with Inaside Chicago Dance. Ms. Hritz is also certified Pilates instructor and an ABA therapist for children with autism. Craig MillerCraig V began his training in the Fine arts Academy at Southfield-Lathrup High School under the direction of Stephanie Schinke-Justice. While being a part of the S-L Dance Co. and Dance Team, he trained with Motor City Dance Factory, under the tutelage of Nicole Burnett, and Brandon Lee. He attended Oakland University as a Merit Scholarship student, and performed with Oakland Dance Theater and the Oakland Repertory Dance Company. Through Oakland University, he twice received a Maggie Allesee Summer-Study Scholarship, and has trained with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, and the Ailey school summer intensives. Craig apprenticed with Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, and he was a part of the Michigan Dance Project. He has performed works by Louis Falco, Amy Marshall, Sean Curran, Robert Moses, Joel Hall, Alonzo King, and Steven Koester to name a few. As a Guest Artist, Craig has performed with the Macomb Ballet, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, Patterson Rhythm Pace Dance Company and the Ypsilanti Area Dancers. Craig has been a dance educator for seven years, and as a free-lance dance artist, he has set works on the Southfield-Lathrup High School Dance Company, Oakland Dance Theater, and Michigan Dance Project. Craig also performs improvised dance performances for his church, and teaches workshops and master classes.
Meghan TerwelpMeghan Terwelp, originally from Quincy, IL, began her love of dance at the age of 3 with the Kaiser Dance Theatre. Later, Meghan graduated magna cum laude with a B.F.A. in dance and a B.S. in psychology from Stephens College, one of the last remaining women's liberal arts colleges in the country. There, Meghan had the opportunity to perform works by Mary Rotella, Deborah Carr, Nancy Lushington, and Jim May. After graduation, Meghan was given a full scholarship to the Giordano Jazz Dance Center in Evanston, IL. Meghan has perfomed with Dimensions Reperatory Dance Company, under the direction of Mary Rotella, and was recently involved with the Joel Hall Dancers II Company in Chicago. With Inaside Chicago Dance, under the direction of Richard Smith, Meghan has had the opportunity to perform works by Lizzie MacKenzie and Justin Mann. Other venues Meghan has performed in are Giordano on Giordano, Dance Chicago, and the American College Dance Festival. Meghan is thrilled to begin her first season with Inaside Chicago Dance as a performing apprentice and for the continuation to grow as an artist with the company. |
